Blanco State Park | Vacation Trails: Hill Country and the Highland Lakes (1943)

Blanco State Park was among the first Texas parks constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, with Company 854 working six days a week for 11 months to build roads, bridges, dams, and picnic spots—spots that visitors still use today. This 1943 promotional film highlights popular tourist sites in the Texas Hill Country, including the limestone riverbanks found at Blanco State Park.
