Lyndon B. Johnson State Park | Exploring the Texas State Park System (1970s)

Directly across the Pedernales River from the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park sits the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site, a 700-acre property honoring both the 36th president and the many German immigrants that settled in the area in the early 1800s. This 1970s government film segment surveys park attractions, including the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm, a working homestead where visitors can see what daily farm life looked like at the turn of the twentieth century.
